Prayer is a skill that players can use to give their character special boosts and perks while in combat, though it drains prayer points so these abilities only last for a certain amount of time. Prayer can also be a very difficult skill to level, but most definitely a very beneficial one. Prayer can be recharged by praying at an alter and your prayers can be changed to curses by praying at a Chaos Alter. Chaos altars can be located behind Edgeville bank or in dungeoneering. To level up prayer, you must either bury bones or use them on an alter. Bones can be ontained from craetures that you kill throughout the world.
