Some items, for example feathers, seeds and money are stacked in the inventory. These items are called stackable items. Most items aren't stackable, because it would be too easy to train if every item was stackable. Multiple amounts of the same item DO stack in the bank, but DON'T stack in your inventory, this is to save bank space.
